Lynx Opens Up
We are excited to announce the formation of Lynx Mountain Guides of Vermont.
Nick and Craig have started Lynx Mountain Guides of Vermont to help people experience the landscapes, adventures, and cultures that Vermont and the surrounding states have to offer. Lynx also connections people to these areas and the people and communities that surround them. We have been guiding adventure trips for the majority of our lives and throughout these experiences we learned that the most powerful part of the trip is often the bonds participants formed with the land around them, the communities of people they interacted with, and the others on the trip. We founded Lynx to offer high quality, professionally guided experiences with an emphasized focus on linking the participants to the people and environments around them.
Lynx will not only show people great adventures in the natural areas of the northeast but we will also work to protect them through educational programs, outreach, service work, and community involvement. We know that the protection of communities and the natural world starts by understanding and having a relationship with them and we work to foster these relationships through adventure. The operations of Lynx Mountain Guides will also be conducted in the most responsible & sustainable way possible.
Outdoor adventures can be a powerful experience and we use this to help people learn more about themselves, each other, and the world around them. We will work to get more people to: try something new; push themselves; meet new people; see new places; and become a part of the Lynx community.
Nick and I have been guiding adventure trips such as rock and ice climbing, canoeing and kayaking, mountaineering, backpacking, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, and more for the majority of our lives. We take outdoor leadership very seriously and work hard to be trained and practiced in the latest techniques in order to keep everyone safe.
Again, we are very excited to launch this guide service. Please share this with your friends and family and we hope to see you on a Lynx trip soon.
